Jump on the B49 bus one block away and head to the beach. It's on average at 45 minutes ride which you can minimize if you take the train to this same bus. But what would be the point. As you sit on the bus, you will pass through different neighborhoods, each with their own style. The last stop is the beach on this route. This beach is quite and less crowded than Coney Island.
