Cayo Levantado is an island in Samaná Bay, located in the Samaná Province in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic. It is a well-known tourist destination in the country. The nearest airport, the Samaná El Catey International Airport is 68 kilometers away.

Cayo Levantado island, also knowned as Bacardi island is located in Samana Bay, at a distance of only 7 Kilometers (About 4 Miles) from the Port of the town of Samana. This is a "not-to-be-missed".

This is one of the most exciting and pleasant water sports you can indulge in. It doesn't requiere a lot of skills or stamina. You'll always go with one of our experience captains to insure safety on the water. You can just lie on the boat and enjoy sailing in the beautiful Samana Bay. You'll have the time for swimming, snorkeling, or just enjoying the sights. We'll visit the famous exotic island of "Cayo Levantado". We'll also visit "Cayo Farola" then it's time to enjoy lunch and drinks on a private beach with some large hammocks awaiting you for siesta time. Then, its more sailing going back to Samana's marina.
