Hike to the end of the trail to watch the seals in the water and sea lions making a ruckus (a lot of noise). Hopefully no sharks patrolling the waters at the same time.

This trail winds through mixed forest, including everything from old growth pines to apple trees. The easy loop trail descends to Long Cove, providing numerous views of the water. Lookout for osprey nestled in large “stick nests,” or soaring over the cove searching for fish to eat. The trail drops down to the rocky shore, and is a great place for an afternoon picnic.
