Newly restored and much loved holiday home that was the original farmhouse is now a private self-contained wing of our home, Glenside Cottage, where we live. In a secluded rural setting, our home and garden is within reach of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, West Coast, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh. Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Our cosy garden cottage with bedsit, kitchen-diner and log-stove is the ideal base for exploring the Trossachs/Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Located in scenic, rural Kippen, we are a 5 minute walk from shops, post office and two award winning gastro-pubs: The Cross Keys and The Inn at Kippen. A busy farm shop with a Deli counter and cafe is on the outskirts of the village. Kippen was listed as one of the 20 best villages in Britain in the The Times newspaper.

Located 10 minutes taxi drive from Glasgow airport. National Cycle path close by and mountain biking tracks on the Old Kilpatrick Hills near by.

Tin Lid Cottage - cosy ground floor flat

* Newly refurbished* There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

Self-contained annexe with its own entrance. This is 1820 built barn conversion. The property has ample grounds with lawns and grassed areas with uninterrupted panoramic views and also couple of friendly Pigmy goats. You can find highland cattle and horses in the fields nearby. Occasionally you can see deer in the open fields. It’s a perfect sanctuary to hideaway or for the more adventurous traveller to explore Scotland major cities Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Our cottage is the perfect place to escape from the city with stunning views right down the valley. We are 20 miles from Glasgow and Stirling and a 20 minute drive to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs national park. Wether you want to completely chill out, read, paint, deer spotting or walking this place is perfect for your needs.

The Station Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage set within the lovely village of Aberfoyle. It has a King bedroom and a Double bedroom. It has a well equipped kitchen with everything you need to enjoy your break and a shower room with toilet. The cottage itself is within walking distance to the local shops, cafes and pubs! The Station Cottage is Dog Friendly and we have walks right on our doorstep!

Blair Byre is a historic building dating back to the 18 th century, starting life as a Crofters cottage before becoming a Byre for livestock. Abandoned for years it has been sympathetically transformed to sit comfortably in its rural setting. The interior has many interesting features incorporating, an eclectic range of materials reclaimed from a local church, distillery, and nearby woodland.
