Sitting above the valley we are always stunned by the silence and sunsets that bless our location. The pod itself is beautifully designed in shiplap wood, the interior offers a cosy bedroom area, a kitchen with smart use of space, a living and dining area with lots of natural light from a panoramic window and a bathroom with shower. For the surfers, a 20 minute drive to some of the world's most famous waves at Strandhill.

Idyllically located in the heart of Union Wood, 7miles from Sligo town this cosy self-contained cabin provides an ideal location to get away from it all, with fishing, hiking & mountain bike trails on your doorstep though action is never far away! This is an ideal stopover on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure or if you're attending a wedding in Markree Castle or Castle Dargan hotel. My parents, Brendan & Sheila will be on hand to show you around and give you a real Sligo welcome!

The cabin is located in a beautiful scenic and secluded area surrounded by trees and wildlife close to the Bricklieve mountains and the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs. Facilities include tea and coffee, a toaster and a mini fridge. No pets. Shower and toilet. There are many walking routes in the area and also fishing close by. It is approx. 20 mins drive from Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. There is a pub which serves food approx. 2kms from the cabin. NO SMOKING
