The Drey; Luxury Holiday Cabin With Hot Tub & Fire

Set in the Northumberland National Park, this attractive wooden cabin has been fully renovated inside with plenty of little touches to make our guests feel right at home. Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms (one a kids room) the property is located on the edge of a small lodge park in Otterburn with woodland walks and plenty of wildlife on the doorstep; including our neighbourly red squirrels! The cabin has a wood burning stove, hot tub and extended deck to the front, and pubs and a general store nearby.

Our small site is nestled in 500 acres of established woodlands which is home to our little red squirrel friend and roe deer, who are always curious too see new faces.

Come and relax in the woods with a book or grab your hiking boots or bikes and explore the surrounding countryside. We're a 20 minute drive from the coast which has stunning cliff top walks and beautiful little bays and fishing villages. The Pottery, nestled in the tree line across from our cottage, looks directly out onto the stunning Borthwick castle. This is a lovely area for walkers, hikers or anyone seeking peace and quiet in a tranquil environment or a romantic weekend getaway nestled below a remote historic castle. The hamlet is also only 30min drive (or 20min train) into central Edinburgh- perfect balance of city to green countryside. Please note we cannot accommodate children or pets.
