We are just 15 minutes from Baltinglass for a great variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. We are about 30 minutes from Ballybeg wedding venue, and 40 minutes from Glendalough We recommend that you have a mode of transport as we are located in a rural area.

Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

Our house is located on top of the cliff (but a safe 80m from the edge!) overlooking Liscannor Bay, 1 km south of Hags Head where the trailhead for the Cliffs of Moher Coastal walk begins. I am the fifth generation of our family who has the privilege of living in this Wild Atlantic Outpost. I am happy to share our home and our history with you.
