Beautiful Flat with Snooker Room and Jacuzzi Bath

My place, close to transport links, is a perfect base for country or city. The flat, originally a 1920’s bungalow, is in the downstairs part of the house separated by a locked door and we live in the upstairs part of the house. We’re in the heart of the historic Scottish Borders with beautiful Edinburgh only 50 minutes away by train. Why not relax with a glass of wine in the private garden, jacuzzi bath or snooker room or curl up on the window seat with a good book.

The Dairy is the former farm Dairy which we converted to a completely self-contained apartment adjoining the main farmhouse where we live with our children. The living/kitchen area is heated by a log burner. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and private bathroom . Enjoy the charm of a rural location, with bike trails, fishing and walking on the doorstep. Relax in the garden and enjoy a nice walk down to the river Tweed through our field of highland cows .

The sitting room has a large sofabed allowing 6 guests to occupy the property comfortably. There is a front and back garden with lovely countryside views.

Meadshaw farmhouse apartment is located a short drive up a good forest track. Plenty of parking, secluded walks from the door, peaceful, starry skies, views across the valley toward hills and river, secluded wild swimming a short stroll from your accommodation, and a log stove to relax in front of.
