Self contained annex on Dartmoor National Park

We are positioned on the very edge of Dartmoor, with the national cycle path 50 mtrs from the gate and walking distance to the adjacent villages of Yelverton & Horrabridge. The annex is a converted stable block and offers our guests the comfort of a newly developed facility, with kitchenette, sofa area, bedroom space and luxury shower room. The Annex will provide you with all of the comforts of home, while you concentrate on enjoying the beauty of the surrounding area. We are bias, but love it!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway looking over the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Ideally situated on the Devon/Cornwall border, with easy access to Dartmoor, Plymouth Hoe, The Barbican & National Aquarium & beaches a 20 minute drive away. Sit & watch the sun go down on the balcony. This one bed apartment is in a quiet location yet close to all amenities, bus stops close by. Guests have their own entrance, sharing a communal hall. A self contained annexe with a shared entrance, perfect for couples with a view of the beautiful River Tamar, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty also Weir Quay is a World Heritage site, ideal for walking, (we are on the route of the Tamara coast to coast walk, get in touch if you would like a 1 night stay) there’s fishing, boating wildlife and bird watching, avocets,oystercatchers & curlews Come and try a kayaking trip just outside the door on the River Tamar which can be booked with us.

The most idyllic riverside escape! Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

The Old Smithy, Idyllic hideaway on Dartmoor

The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling wild swimming and getting away from it all, a true nature lovers paradise! We live in a house on the same site so will be on hand for any advice or assistance. We are on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and an hour's drive from numerous beaches. The thriving town of Tavsitock is 7 miles away.

An idyllic rural bolthole within a wooded valley located close to the Devon and Cornwall border, ideally situated to explore the whole of the Westcountry. 2 miles from Yelverton (local shops) and 8 miles from Plymouth. The choice is yours to relax around the wood-burning stove, escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and beyond or enjoy a local cider in the 16th-century pub opposite.

Perfectly situated between Dartmoor and Devon and Cornwall's beautiful beaches, Apple Orchard is the perfect place from which to explore. A delight for walkers, runners, cyclists, swimmers, divers, surfers, wind surfers, kayakers & paddle boarders alike.

Situated between the River Tavy and Tamar on the borders of Devon and Cornwall. The cottage is a newly renovated mid terrace cottage in the heart of Bere Alston. It has a cosy living room, well -equipped kitchen & a spacious bathroom. There is a King Size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the twin bedroom.
