We hope that you can experience such fun and quiet time in our cozy, western-style bunk room. Located only a 10 minute drive from downtown Stowe.

Great restaurants, breweries and live music all within five miles. Plenty of parking. Close to Stowe, Montpelier, and Burlington.

Our single story 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located within 30 minutes of Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski areas and the quaint towns of Bristol, Richmond and Waitsfield. Drive another 15 minutes to Burlington or the Bolton Valley Ski Area. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails nearby, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the nearby river. Snow tires and front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles necessary during the winter months.

Enjoy some peace and quiet in the heart of the Mad River Valley. Cozy 1 bedroom loft apartment with views of an Alpine lodge directly behind. Very central location to all of the adventures that Vermont holds. 20 mins to Stowe, 30 mins to Burlington, easy access to all the hiking, skiing and fabulous other destinations. We always encourage guests to purchase trip insurance, in case of unexpected events that may cause you to cancel your stay.

Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room is very cozy with radiant heat in the floor during the winter. The separate entrance is off a covered porch. The porch has chairs and a table and is very pleasant in the warmer months The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal. We live in a historic building and our neighborhood is located very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe as well as skiing, hiking and biking are all nearby.

Cozy Cottage in the Mad River Valley

My dad and I built this home from 2015-2019 working mostly on the weekends. We did everything we could ourselves including all the framing, siding, and fine woodworking. It has abundant natural and artificial light and a beautiful deck/porch. We made sure to build a lot of storage space with built in closets, cabinets, and drawers. I am very proud of what we accomplished and I'm so excited to be able to share our creation with guests.
