This is a pretty little light & sunny, self contained unit. Ideal for couples but we could add a portacot. 2 mins walk to the lake for swimming, 20 minutes easy walk to town. Basic accommodation, with tiny bathroom - shower toilet & little basin. Kitchen suitable for coffee toast etc with a microwave. SMART TV for Netflix. Gorgeous view of marina. Breakfast supplies including muesli, fruit, yoghurt, bread for toast. Fiber B/Band. Not fancy accommodation. Good quality linen and comfortable bed.

A car is necessary as we’re NOT in town!Clean, comfortable, private, peaceful 3 bedroom house surrounded by trees & bush and not in busy suburbia. Sleeps 4 unless a request for 5 is made which involves an extra charge. Just across the road from the lake and 2 Bays. New ensuite bathroom and heat pump/air conditioner and new 55” Sony TV. Our place is close to the great Tongariro National Park. It includes Mt Ruapehu for skiing or snow boarding and tramping. Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.

Rainbows End Cottage

A cute, clean and cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded native bush setting. Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi.
