There is a park nearby, a surf club, and easily accessible bevy of shops (Four Square grocery, restaurants and bakeries, laundromat, and a spirits store) in Red Beach or venture just a little further to Orewa for more cafes and restaurants

Space includes queen bed, two comfortable chairs, small fridge with tea and coffee bench, and shower and toilet. Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

Relax in the conservatory positioned under native trees home to many birds such as Tuis and native wood pidgeons. It is a great place to start your northern journey or a base for your trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island wildlife sanctuary. It is minutes to many local beaches, ten minutes to Gulf Harbour and 10 - 15 minutes to Orewa and the motorway.

With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. Gorgeous estuary and sea views from sunny covered deck. Note stair access only. Street parking available. The unit is underneath an occupied home so whilst we are mindful of our guests, you may hear/ see us moving about the property. Be prepared to have visits and cuddles from Billy Idol the cat 🐈
