Take a trip (approx. 45 km) across the border to Norway and Halden for a visit to Fredriksten's fortress or why not to Strömstad (approx. 30 km) a city by the sea with a large selection of activities during the summer, rich restaurant life, nice shopping in small shops that are close to each other and you feel a salty cooling dip in the summer heat, it is a short distance to the sea, rocks and swimming, feel free to take one of the bathing boats out to one of the islands in the Strömstad archipelago.
