Number 4 is a 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel in the beautiful historic village of Glenfinnan, 17 miles west of Fort William along the scenic Road to the Isles. The view from front is spectacular and the rear window view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans as the Glenfinnan Viaduct (The Harry Potter Bridge) and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are both located here. Solas is set off the main road in a private and secluded area. It is situated in the south of Skye on the Sleat peninsula. The cottage is situated 5-10mts north of the ferry terminal at Armadale. It is also about 20mts from the bridge meaning it is easy to explore the north of Scotland as well as Skye itself. Solas is a short drive to shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and a 5minute walk to the Torabhaig Distillery. Past the distillery is a lovely walk down to Knock Castle and the beach.

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.
