Walk down to the edge of the ocean to lounge or picnic. The intrepid visitor can scramble along the shore. Walk 6 minutes or drive the 0.1 miles to the park entrance. Hike the Little River Trail. The house has vaulted ceilings, panoramic views, fully equipped kitchen, and whirlpool bath.

Winter or summer, the Little River Retreat will help you step away from the world - but still be minutes from Reid State Park, Five Islands Lobster, the Georgetown General Store, and the rugged beauty of Midcoast Maine. This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Enjoy your stay on the banks of Webb Lake in our 2019 hand-crafted log cabin. This cabin is 35 ft from the high water mark and has views of the lake from all three bedrooms. This rental has access to a private beach ( 200 ft) and is in a secluded cove on the lake. For travelers unfamiliar with Weld, Maine, Weld is nested in the heart of the western mountains of Maine. Hiking Tumbledown and Mt Blue are only the beginning of the recreational opportunities.
