Be it an extended weekend tucked in seclusion, amongst the birds, river and trees, or find the comforts of a 37 acre small farm nestled in the mountains and settle in, working from afar. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

We are minutes from hiking the Long Trail, rock climbing the Bolton Dome, skiing Bolton Valley, Stowe Mountain Resort, or Smugglers Notch, swimming in Lake Champlain, or playing golf at the West Bolton Golf Course. We are also less than an hour drive to Burlington, Montpelier, Stowe and the Canadian border.

Tons of detail, while keeping the design natural and simple. Unbelievable views of Camels hump State park. A loft with one queen bed and downstairs has a queen bed with three sides of the bed having windows facing the views. Hiking offered right from the cabin. An awesome getaway!

Great restaurants, breweries and live music all within five miles. Plenty of parking. Close to Stowe, Montpelier, and Burlington.

Cozy Cottage in the Mad River Valley

My dad and I built this home from 2015-2019 working mostly on the weekends. We did everything we could ourselves including all the framing, siding, and fine woodworking. It has abundant natural and artificial light and a beautiful deck/porch. We made sure to build a lot of storage space with built in closets, cabinets, and drawers. I am very proud of what we accomplished and I'm so excited to be able to share our creation with guests.
