The Lake & Elmore State Park are only 1/2 mile away. The classic New England village of Stowe is our close by neighbor.

Historic House in the Village of Hardwick

Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. House of Pizza is only 2 blocks. We are in the village, please respect neighbors.

There are over 10 acres to play (snowshoe, cross country ski, sledding, hiking or just relaxing) and only 20 mins. to awesome skiing or riding at Jay Peak! Two bedrooms across two floors. Relax in the deep claw-footed tub in the large full bathroom. Fully outfitted kitchen: coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, gas stove with oven. Grill on deck. Washer & dryer. Wifi for remote working.

Only three quarters of an hour from three ski resorts, Jay Peak, Burke Mtn and Smugglers Notch, we’re the perfect place to stay for your skication. There’s also plenty of hiking and beautiful lakes (Memphremagog, Crystal and Willoughby) to explore close by. Craftsbury Outdoor Ctr, Creek Hill Barn and, snowmobile trails are nearby. Jay Mountain Retreat

Our modern home is just 8 miles to Jay Peak. We have long range mountain views, you can check if the tram is running and enjoy exquisite sunsets all from the couch. The loft upstairs has an open floor plan with a comfortable living space, bathroom and platform bed, where you can view Jay Peak conditions. We now have Starlink high speed internet. There are 8 private acres half woods half open meadow feel free to walk around the property and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature.

If you are looking for a serene location that is nestled in the woods off a quiet country road and yet only 1 mile from the town square with its locally owned grocery store and gas station, you’ve come to the right spot! We are centrally located between Burke Mtn and Jay Peak resort, both being 30 minutes away. We sit 1/4 mile from the VAST trail and are near several lakes and hiking trails. Also close by is the Craftsbury Outdoor Ctr, Creek Hill Barn and breweries.

Waterfront cabin

This one bedroom waterfront guest cabin is located on Great Hosmer Pond in the beautiful town of Craftsbury Common, Vermont. The owners of the property live in the main house. The cabin has access to the cross country ski trails of the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Swimming dock on property with access to a canoe. The cabin is made of double tongue and grooved red western cedar. The cabin is available year round except for 'mud season'.
