We have 4 luxurious double bedrooms, all ensuite, there is a beautiful kitchen and dining room, and an elegant drawing room. Close to Ambleside (centre of the Lake District), with easy access to other villages, the lakes, and the fells. On site parking. As good as it gets!

Yewbarrow - Shepherd's hut overlooking Wastwater

One of two traditional wooden shepherd's huts situated at the top of the beautiful Wasdale valley on a working Lakeland hill farm. Both huts have spectacular lake views over Wastwater and the surrounding fells and are the perfect bases for outdoor activities. Great walks nearby, the nearest big fells are the Coniston mountains which can be seen from the garden. If you prefer low level walks, there are spectacular views walking round the shores of Coniston Water. There is a nice local pub that serves good food within walking distance.
