Es kann aber ebenso passieren, dass Haus und Umgebung vom Nebel verschluckt werden, dass der Wind ums Haus heult und der Regen gegen die Fenster peitscht!!! Immer bietet sich Ihnen ein faszinierendes Naturschauspiel im Zusammenwirken von Meer und Wolken und den Elementen und in klaren Nächten ein von funkelnden Sternen übersäter Himmel - und noch echte Dunkelheit!

The Old Church Hall, Ballydehob.

A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

Beautifully converted using natural building materials, the space is light, peaceful and open, heated with a cosy wood burner. The interior is handmade, restored or salvaged by us. We provide Sourdough bread, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.

This spacious, bright, modern home has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It is situated adjacent to Lough Hyne Marine Nature Reserve (less than 1km to the lake) which is one of the most beautiful locations in West Cork. The house and terrace afford stunning views over Lough Nacartan and Knockomogh Hill. Our elegant and peaceful garden lodge has stunning sea views and is located a 5 minute walk from two long beaches, Garrettstown and Garrylucas. The renowned gourmet town of Kinsale is less than ten minutes by car and the airport is just a 30 minutes drive. The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on one of the many local beaches. The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
