This romantic & family friendly lakefront chalet comes with a private beach, hot tub, camp fire, and stunning views. It’s a serene home base to explore everything the Lakes Region has to offer. Mid Apr-Oct we also provide kayaks and paddle board. Enjoy the beach, swim, kayak, bike, fish, hike, or explore quintessential New England towns and food scene. Or simply dine with a view and play board games. We have poured our hearts into making this place romantic yet practical for families. Enjoy!

Derby House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful quintessential lake house. Located on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee in Chestnut Cove. The Derby house has 100 feet of private waterfront, beach and a large deep water crib dock. Relax and dine on the large deck by day and sit by the waters edge and enjoy a crackling fire while star gazing at night. There is plenty of space for your boat, kayak, canue etc. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the sandy beach with easy access to swimming & snorkeling.

This true waterfront offers you the opportunity to enjoy lake front living in the quaint town of Alton Bay, NH. Whether swimming at waters edge, taking a kayaking adventure, enjoying the sunsets from the large front deck or s'mores around the campfire this is a true gem and super clean. Located right down the street from Mt Major and 10 mins to Gunstock. Host is a licensed NH Realtor.

We also provide a double kayak so you can explore the mile-long lake from the easy launch point in front of the house.
