Located in the center of the valley near every activity (Shirley Meadow skiing, Lake Isabella, Kern River, Sequoia National Forest), Note: Resort Fee is Temp Occupancy Tax imposed by Kern County, not my choice.

Lake just down the road, river 1/2 mile away and mountains are great any time of year. Walking distance to downtown Kernville. Kern River Brewing 1 mile away. Rustic and cozy 1920s vintage time capsule cabin with mid century furnishings and original kitchen and appliances. Pet friendly! Unplug for a few days with NO WIFI/Internet. If you need these amenities, another place would be better. Hiking from your doorstep, Lake Isabella 10 minute drive down the hill, with boating, swimming, and fishing, and just a few miles up the road to Kernville, with white water rafting, fly fishing, and great restaurants alongs the Kern river. Peace and quiet!

Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.

TWO GUESTS ONLY , NO PARTIES, NO PETS! Comfy king bed, lovely outdoor bathtub. NO WIFI. Only 1 bar cell svs-plus record player/TV/videos/books/games. Heavy snow possible!
