Situated 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails it is the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind. Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. Own transport needed.

O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. Enter through your private door into a small living room with comfy sofa & smart TV.. Facilities include a microwave, toaster, fridge & kettle. There is no sink in this room but water & basin in the adjacent private bathroom. Down your hall the bedroom has a king size bed, two East facing windows. Outside there is seating to relax. You have privacy from adjoining cottage, own entrance and locked hallway. NOTE. BnB is part of another cottage. Separate entrance and closed off.

Nestled in the privacy of our organic farm the off grid hut sits with panoramic views of the Redcross valley down to Brittas Bay and the Irish Sea . The hut is beside a canopy of mature beech trees and on some days the nesting kites will give aerial displays to lift one’s spirits . At night the sky scape is uninterrupted and the stars can almost touch you The dawn breaks over your deck and the setting sun gives you witness to the splendour of the nature surrounding you.

Perfect for family getaways as it is close to great beaches and walks. Not suitable for partying.
