The Yurt at Rivendell Vacation Rental

What exactly is an Octadecagon? Our "Yurt," is an 18-sided, custom-built, and exquisitely appointed wilderness cabin unlike any other. Over two years in construction, Roy Conant, allowed the spirit and materials of the "Yurt" to guide realization of a sweet, peaceful, and accessible wilderness respite. Accessible from inside the "Yurt" is a bathroom with a roll-in shower with seat and other facilities with transfer provisions.

The yurt is a great place to disconnect and unwind in every season. We built it as a family and we’re excited to share it with you. Yurt has full kitchen, bath & laundry. The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
