Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. The cabin was formerly known as the "Happy Nest" - we welcome back repeat visitors to experience some of the new changes as we make the cabin into our own.

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Klaus Haus-A cozy, modern retreat

This remodeled cabin is a beauty! It is architecturally unique with interesting lines, floor to ceiling windows, an open concept main floor, wood burning stove and a king sized bed in the loft. This is a great home base for exploring all that Mt. Hood has to offer and a beautiful space to relax in afterwards! We do have a deck but unfortunately it is under construction and currently unavailable.
