The cabin has deeded access to the lake, and there are trails out the back door to hike in the forest. High quality linens are provided to add comfort for your stay, and the wood burning fireplace keeps you cozy. It is the perfect place for those that are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and up for a bit of adventure. The wooded island is seven acres and home to two cottages—Sunrise (facing Potawatomi, “the emerald wall” as Grandpa Paul fondly named the view) and Sunset (overlooking the Idlewild Peninsula). The cottages are connected by a well traveled path and a short walk.

One bedroom with queen size bed, a sleeper sofa with queen size foldout bed in the living room, blankets and pillows provided for both beds, however, you'll need to provide your own bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, soaps and shampoos. Full kitchen with fridge, electric stove, microwave, and all kitchen and dining utensils included. Stand up shower in the bathroom. 2nd house rule - no smoking, and no pets.
