Located in the Milawa Gourmet Region, the cottage is ideal for visiting the King Valley wine region, Beechworth & Bright. From the comfort of the back verandah you will enjoy views of the olive grove & beyond the lawns to paddocks with sheep and lambs. Delights inside the cottage include a rainwater shower, bathtub, fireplace, an espresso machine & super comfy bed linens. Our recently renovated cottage loves the environment & uses rainwater, solar power & vintage European furniture.

River Tranquility - Peaceful - Close to Town

This is a lovely property located in a quiet court. It backs onto the Ovens River so the views are amazing with natural bush land which is seen through the lounge room and dining room windows. It has an open fireplace and ducted heating. In the main bathroom there is a bath spa. There are bikes to use on the scenic tracks along the river. If you're looking for a peaceful environment and like restaurants, cafes, hotels and shopping but still want the bush setting, this may suit you.

Lala Salama - Milawa Gourmet Region Retreat

Lala Salama, “sleep well” in Swahili, is located in the heart of the Milawa gourmet region. Just around the corner from Sam Miranda and the King River Cafe, famous for its lemon tart, and in close proximity to Brown Brothers, other wineries and the Milawa Cheese Factory, it's the perfect base for a weekend away. A percentage of all profits goes to support the Tumaini Miles of Smiles Centre in rural western Kenya, rescuing vulnerable children and giving them a home and education.

Here you will find Brown Brother's cellar door and Epicurean centre at your door step, and close proximity to everything North East Victoria has to offer. A place to relax, situated on a 5 acre property with lots of space for parking. Our home is adjacent to this accommodation, we are not tolerant of drugs and parties. Minimum 2 night stay. 20A outlet for EV charging. Hot Tub / Spa for relaxing and soaking out the pains of a long drive. North east Vic has a plethora of things to see and do, no matter your taste. We have lived in this region all of our lives and are happy to help out with any queries.
