Fox and Bird Retreat on Davis Stream

Our off-the-grid, solar-powered cottage is nestled within our 18 acres in the town of Washington, Maine. The cottage borders a beautiful stream, is surrounded by tall pines and is several hundred feet away from our home, providing a very private and serene experience. Guests can wander or snowshoe on our property, relax in the screen house next to the cottage or hang by the accessible fire pit. We are close to many local lakes and hiking trails and only 30 minutes from Camden & Rockland.

"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! Enjoy sweeping vistas of the Camden Hills from this this luxurious, newly built, mountainside guest house situated on 14 acres of rolling pasture. Once a working dairy farm, this property includes the original post and beam barn, our new family home, and your private cottage with separate entrance and outdoor patio. We are centrally located just a short scenic drive to Camden, Rockport, Rockland & Belfast. Here, you'll wake up to the birds singing and a herd of deer out your window.

This charming spot overlooking the bay is laid back and welcoming. Fully furnished, including linens, basic beach supplies —towels, chairs and umbrella. There is wi-fi and a Roku TV included (you will need your own streaming accounts), an air conditioner, and balcony with a view of Penobscot Bay. We strive to be an allergen free space so do not allow animals. We use all essential oil natural products (bleach disinfectant where needed) and natural laundry soap for our linens.

Relax with the family on our peaceful, rural property. A quiet neighborhood allows for time to just rest, but our central location makes it possible to enjoy many activities! Brooks has a place to find groceries/gas, and is home to the Country View Golf Club. This camper offers all the amenities of home. The kitchen is fully equipped with Keurig, stove, fridge and freezer. Bath has flushing toilet and a shower. Should any needs arise, we are next door and available to help.
