IORI SHIROYAMA is located on a hill overlooking Takayama and is a vila of traditional Japanese architecture, only one group per night. Even if you don't have a car, you can get off at Shin-Takaoka Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, take the World Heritage Bus, and get off at the nearest bus stop while enjoying the mountain views from the window. Essai is just a two-minute walk away.
