Countryside walks that inspired Rex whistlers landscape paintings, he lived in the renowned Bolbec House here in Whitchurch with his family from 1933. Close by are remains of the motte and bailey Bolbec Castle, the castle stones are thought to have been used to build our delightful home.

THE OLD SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Old Sunday School is in the grounds of a Grade-II listed Georgian rectory, opposite a medieval church. It has been newly converted and refurbished in an open-plan contemporary style, and finished to a very high specification. It has a private entrance and garden and patio area. Guests have access to the hosts' seven-acre landscaped garden in an area of outstanding natural beauty. In the summer months [MAY-mid SEPTEMBER] guests will have shared use of the outdoor pool with the owners.

Dusty's Hook on the Wall is a modern purpose built ground floor annexe within our home. You will have your own front door and access to our garden if desired. Stewkley is in beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside close to the Bedfordshire border. It is in a peaceful road with many walks in the beautiful countryside but also very easy access to Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. We have 2 dogs who may visit if you choose to let them in!
