Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Middle Gresham Get-a-way Your year round Getaway

We are located on Middle Gresham Lake, this is a semi private lake, very quite lake with no public access. The fishing is great. Includes use of a row boat, canoe and two kayaks, boat motor available-extra charge. Rustic cabin feel with pristine views, a fire pit for roasting marsh mellows. Centrally located between Minocqua and Boulder Junction. Please note that an invoice for Room Tax will also be sent 10 before your arrival, as Airbnb only collects Wisconsin sales tax with your reservation.

Small but cozy apartment like setting. Fresh modern updates give you the outdoors feel that Northern WI provides, as well as the modern feel that many enjoy. The living room provides you with a comfortable couch to relax, with a lake view. A full sized deck to relax on. One bedroom provides you with the typical bed/dresser setup for a great night of sleep. While the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (2 single beds), it also doubles as a office space which you can do your work while away from home.

Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. The Tepee is a cozy studio cabin on Big St. Germain Lake with a fireplace. It is the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway & a great alternative to staying in a hotel with your own pier and right on the lake. The cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers & furry friends. We have a sandy beach for swimming and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fireplace and fire pit. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.

The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.
