Cosy Barn with a Vineyard View

Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood!

Stunning Lakeside Shepherd's Hut - Hot Tub & Sauna

A stunning shepherd's hut in a beautiful lakeside location. Set at the back of a working farm & equestrian centre the hut is well-appointed with modern decor. Visitors will have the use of the hut, stunning firepit & BBQ. A beautiful private wood-fired hot tub is attached for your exclusive use. There is also a sauna a few steps away. The lake is well fenced, secure & very private. Visitors are welcome to fish in the very well-stocked specimen Carp lake, with multiple fish approaching 40lb.

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of four people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and a large flat screen Smart TV. We currently have four lodges available on the site (sleeping 16 in total).

From the hot tub on the veranda you can look over the beautiful lake that you can while away your day leisurely fishing, we have some 36 ib carp in there for the serious fisherman just don't forget your rod. Keen photographer? see how many different bird species you can catch on camera or the deer in the surrounding fields. So much to do make sure you book enough time.

The Apple Barn

Located within easy reach of the historic city of Cambridge and adjacent to the RSPB's extensive nature reserves, this Apple Barn is a 2 bedroom property in an edge of village location offering spacious accommodation for 4 people. It benefits from off-street parking and an enclosed garden. Excellent transport links to both Cambridge and St Ives. Perfect location for walking, cycling or birding enthusiasts. The local stretch of the Great Ouse offers both boating and fishing

Lakeside Self Catering Lodge

Enjoy a peaceful holiday with wonderful views overlooking the lake. Guests can access the water directly from the decking. There are steps down making it easy to launch paddle boards, kayaks or canoes. Why not be bold & try wild swimming or paddle up the river to the pub for a meal then spend your evening fishing from the deck or having a BBQ. There is an abundance of wildlife on the marina including geese, swans, kingfishers, muntjac deer, bats and on occasions otters.

Private Apartment at Woodland Retreat

The HIDE @ Old Plantation is a luxurious self-contained one bedroom country retreat in Cambridgeshire with 40 acres of woodland. Set in a tranquil location, close to the village of Gamlingay, it is a magical place to relax, walk, cycle and soak up the enchanting natural setting. The HIDE has a wonderful pond view with waterlilies and willow trees. Ducks, herons, red kites and migrating geese can often be spotted without moving off the living room couch!

Countryside 1 bedroom flat (plus double pull out bed) on private farm 5.5 miles South from Cambridge city centre. Renovated barn conversion with full kitchen, new appliances, comfortable living space, tv with Netflix, king size Hypnos mattress and balcony with picturesque views of the Magog hills. Situated on a 30 acre farm with a private drive, lake and country paths. Children under 1 are free, after 12 months are charged extra person.
