Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. We would like to share our experiences of the area. We are open the howl year and we are Pet friendly, please ask !

Enjoy daily strolls on 130 acres of pristine meadows, and view abundant wildflowers and wildlife. Visit our highland cows, horses and our two mini donkeys, who are always happy to accompany you on walks!

Visit the Emerald Hideaway, our family cabin we would love to share with you and yours! We are media neutral with adequate cell service. Emerald Hideaway is pet friendly. On the main floor is: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. Upstairs is a loft with multiple beds- ideal for a large group with children or more than one family The cabin is walking distance from the lake- ideal for summer lake activities or winter tubing and skating. Escape to Canim Lake and if you're lucky view the northern lights! Stunning views to Wells Grey park, high bank waterfront, with access to a private beach, fire pit and two kayaks. The space has an up cycled vintage vibe. Across the deck there's an outdoor kitchen, with a fridge, propane stove, air fryer & toaster. There's a composting toilet & shower. Work remotely & go for a paddle on your lunch break! Great for swimming, fishing & paddling. Well behaved dogs considered!

With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.
