The house is located within an equestrian farm estate and only 5 minutes walk to an award winning pub and Spar shop in the village. Centrally located for fun packed days out from Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat, Gold Hill, to Monkey World, Sherborne Castle and the Jurassic Coast. It’s also a very short drive to the popular Todber fishing lakes and historic Shaftesbury.

Ideal for both families and small groups of friends.There is ample off road parking in front of the property. Sitting and eating areas on the veranda and a large lawn for children to run and play. Located on the edge of the lovely village of Hilton, this is a perfect place to hunker down for a few days or to use as a base for exploring all the amazing places that Dorset has to offer, all within easy reach. We are a gentle half hour stroll from Milton Abbey which is set in a magnificent Capability Brown landscape. We are also an easy trip (approximately 20 miles) from the spectacular Jurassic coast.

Lakeside Cottage - at Incombe Farm

Really comfortable and warm converted stables next to our main house but with privacy, standing in idyllic private valley. Less than 2 miles from Shaftesbury. The cottage overlooks our small lake (about 1/2 acre). Peaceful countryside with buzzards, woodpeckers, a barn owl, ducks, pheasants, deer and even otters. See them at your breakfast table or in our enclosed veranda with circular table and overhead heater. Well behaved small / medium dogs only - strictly by prior agreement.

Drive to the Jurassic coast (40 mins) to explore Lulworth Cove or visit the gorgeous beach at Studland.
