This is a Turn of the Century Victorian Home. It was built in 1900, we are the 3rd owners. It has been well loved and given a new look. It is our desire to share this with unique space with everyone. You will have a warm and inviting space to relax in. Upgrades include an extensive water filtration system and thermostatic shower controls. Just one block from NewBo Market in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, this sparkling clean, cozy and eclectic space is the upper apartment of an 1890s era home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Once slated for demolition, the Heart House was fully restored (in a way that charms everyone) to include a first floor shop and a second floor apartment. Guests especially love the clawfoot tub with rainfall showerhead.

Ausadie Building is a registered Local & National Historic property, located in the Medical & Downtown District. Only a few minutes walk to many entertainment venues, museums, galleries, four live theaters, Coe College and many churches and restaurants. The building has been beautifully restored and offers a courtyard with a pool, flower gardens and a peaceful Koi pond. Laundry and a fully equipped gym are also included. Our secure building will feel like your home away from home!

Our place is close to everything! A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. There is a fire pit and wood for a nice relaxing night, if you choose to stay in. Check out my other listing next door. 3 bed 2 bath if you need more space.

Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Irish Hill - Uptown Marion

Named after it’s neighborhood roots, this 2 bedroom apartment is full of charm. Originally the first floor of a 1900 home for railroad workers in Marion, it is now a refurbished 2 bedroom apartment we call the Irish hill. A completely separate 1 bedroom apartment (also on Airbnb) is the top half of the house, and we call that the Uptown B! Check it out on our host profile. Irish hill guests will have access to a .25 acre yard (unfenced). Only blocks away from uptown Marion!
