If you’re looking for excellent cocktails with a nice dinner make your way uptown to Sea Level. Their own Mixologist makes these unique cocktails. I recommend the NY Melting Sour. Sea Level uses locally sourced food here in the Carolinas. I recommend either Shrimp and Grits or Paella for dinner. Can’t go wrong

You will get a good workout in this hike with some good views. If the day is clear you can see Uptown Charlotte from the top

About 15 minutes from the house. Spend the day here from kayaking to white water rafting to stand up paddling board and ending the evening with River Jam live music at the amphitheater. You will feel like you’re from the city but within city distance.
