North Windham is less than 4 miles from the Farmhouse and offers a variety of local and chain restaurants & stores.
For groceries, Hannaford and Shaws are your best bet.
A few of the decent local restaurants include Chute's Family Restaurant or Kelly's Sebago Diner for Brunch, Bob’s Seafood and Taproom, Luchador Tacos, Thai Place, Deck House Sports Tavern, Stockhouse (a decent assortment of local beer on tap), Hana Asian Cuisine, and Portland Pie. The Dugout is our favorite for ice cream.
You'll also find chain restaurants and box stores like HD, Lowes, Walmart, Staples, Applebees, fast-food joints, Chipolte and Starbucks.
You can also visit Seacoast Adventure for some kid friendly activities like mini-golf, go-carts, sky swing, water playground, and ropes course. Snow tubing available in the winter.

Weeks Moody's Loop - Mountain Bike Trails. Gorham has some great MTB trails. This is one of the most popular.

This is one of our favorite walks that ends at a gorgeous secluded beach on Sebago Lake. It's just under 3 miles and mostly flat walk in. Bring your suit and enjoy this amazing beach.

Pleasant Mountain’s proximity to both Portland and Boston make it an important environmental, recreational and economic resource for the region.

There are four trailheads on the mountain: Ledges, Bald Peak, Southwest Ridge, and Firewarden’s. All trails connect and lead to the summit.
