World famous silky sand beaches, live entertainment most nights, chair and umbrella rentals, shower and bathroom facilities, picnic areas, plenty of parking. A free trolley takes you from the northern tip of Anna Maria Island down to Bradenton Beach.
Northern part of the island has a walkable small town feel. Ginny and Janey's is a must-see. Quirky shop and restaurant, all the locals hang out here. Rod n' Reel Restaurant and the end of the pier serves my favorite, grouper sandwich. Usually a wait to get in.
