My favorite place in the United States. Fine, white quartz sand, and lots of it! :-) Concession stands, pavilion and restrooms.
Typically, parking is harder after 10:00am. Maybe even earlier on a weekend.
Search for "Patriots Pier" at the north end of the beach. A flag lowering at sunset. A patriotic time to share with locals and visitors every day (weather permitting). It's wonderful to have dinner at any of the Siesta Key "Village" restaurant, and then take a stroll to watch/participate in the ceremony. Valet parking is available (they work for tips) for those dining at the surrounding 5 or 6 restaurants on Avenida Messina St.
