We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Berry Cottage is a 18th century grade 2 listed cottage just a 10 minute walk from the centre of the historic city of Ripon, where you can visit Ripon Cathedral, enjoy a canal cruise and sample the delights of our independent eateries. Ripon is also within walking distance of Studley Royal deer park and Fountains Abbey or only a 5 minute drive if you prefer. This is an ideal place to stay to explore the Yorkshire Dales. The famous spa town of Harrogate is also only 25 minutes’ drive away

Chequer Barn Apartment

An oak framed loft apartment is above a large garage which is accessed by stairs with a balcony for tree level seating. The space is not attached to our house and has separate access. The pitched roof gives the apartment a feeling of space and light, with underfloor heating. The outside space is ideal if you want some fresh air. We are in a rural location with no amenities, although the nearest village is only two miles away. We would welcome all visitors, but we don’t accept children.

A charming cottage a mile from Brimham Rocks, attached to the main farmhouse at Springhill and powered by renewable energy. With a private garden, on-site parking, and views over moor and dale, it’s perfect for couples or small families. Inside, enjoy a cosy living space with a log burner (logs provided), well-equipped kitchen, shower/wet room, and upstairs a king bedroom plus a walk-through space with twin bed (single futon chair bed and a single bed). We also allow up to 2 pets.
