A large fireplace provides perfect winter ambience. Four downhill ski areas are 30-40 min. Kid and pet friendly.

Cozy dog friendly cabin nestled among tall fir trees and rhododendron bushes. Peaceful view from the sitting/ office area. Wood paneling throughout gives the cabin a cozy, warm feeling. It's a 2 bed, 1.5 bath @ 850 sq ft but with its tall open beam ceilings and airy windows - it feels big for a small space. The cabin stays naturally cool throughout the summer & Zigzag river swimming hole is close by! Plus - fast WiFi and large desk lets you get work done while enjoying the outdoors!

It's walking distance from a pizza place, Dairy Queen, coffee house and various other shops. 17min from Government Camp and minutes from numerous hiking trails. Cozy & Private A-Frame: Mount Hood National Forest

Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
