The Lake Front Cottage at Lake Alden

Enjoy the natural beauty of the lake from the covered porch, stone patio, or the dock. This two bedroom cottage is great for a small family getaway any time of the year! Come enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming all from your own private dock. Please note that during the winter months weather conditions can rapidly change. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter stays. Also, occasional power outages do occur year round due to weather. During prolonged outages, generator power can be provided.

Unplugged (no WiFi) and peaceful. We provide breakfast foods. Unfortunately we cannot provide fresh breakfasts at this time, to keep our prices the same, with inflation. We hope to again in the future, if the current costs go down. A family built, tiny, timber frame. We are in a farming community, and several Amish farms dot our road. The Rhodie House

The Rhodie House is located on the West shore of Cayuga Lake. It is close to Ithaca, wineries and parks. Cornell University can be seen from the dock. The lake frontage includes 80 ft. of gravel beach as well as a wooden dock. The cottage has a wrap around deck with great lake views. There are over 20 rhododendron bushes on the property. A smart TV allows streaming your favorite shows.
