This quiet retreat is all at ground level with a private patio. It is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and no stairs.

Well-appointed guest cottage in historic New Bern offers all the comforts of home while situating you under 0.5mi from city center. Private bedroom and en suite downstairs, king bed in loft. Each room has individual wall units for custom temp control, living space has TV with Firestick for streaming and Bluetooth speaker. Kitchen does not have a stove/oven but includes microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, fridge, blender, kettle. Please use our little library to discover new and old treasures!

Waterfront Home with hottub, kayak, and jon boat

Fishing paradise, breathtaking sunrise and moonlight from your private hottub on the back deck, steps to the water. Tandem kayak and small boat included. You can fish, kayak, or wade from the back yard! We've caught drum, flounder, shrimp, etc. Master has a king nectar bed and an amazing view of the water from the picture windows. 3 miles to beach, 13 miles to Aquarium, & 13 miles to Camp Lejeune. The road is close but once you exit your vehicle, you feel like you are in your own lil paradise.

You will not forget your stay at the River Watch Retreat, and will want to tell your friends. This beautiful cabin offers a full NW view of the Carolina Blue Sky and setting sun on ENC's Trent River. Interior is paneled in locally sourced Poplar with Cedar accents. Beadboard and custom ceramic tile compliment the bathroom. Located only one block from the boat ramp at the Trent River in Pollocksville, NC and nearly halfway between Downtown Historic New Bern and Jacksonville, and only a 1/2 hour from Emerald Isle beaches – Cottage at the Trent is a stand-alone newly-remodeled guest house featuring a stocked kitchen, full bathroom, large loft area for sleeping plus a reading/game area. The unit sleeps 4 – 5 and the property allows for parking trailered boats or RV’s.
