Bridgend Cottage Escaping to Happiness

Bridgend Cottage is a quirky Welsh cottage perched on the river Leri, it is built into a beautiful humpback bridge. Dol Y Bont is a small hamlet in a farming community. The cottage is the perfect romantic rural getaway. You can lie in bed and listen to the river running below the window. Outside the garden is on the riverbank or there is a balcony over the river. Our lovely old cottage retains many original features including low beamed ceilings. Sadly we are unable to accept guests under 12.

Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

We are surrounded by incredible wildlife and some rare species, and are demonstrating how to restore this precious land - producing food, beauty and habitat! With a Wood burner, Kitchen, Bathroom, Central Heating and unparalleled views - it is perfect for walking, a romantic break, nature or mountain biking holidays or as a rural family retreat.

Rockside, stunning sea views, family home

Rockside is a stones throw away from the beautiful blue flag beach of Borth. It has been renovated to offer a stunning 3 bedroom holiday house with open plan kitchen and diner downstairs and a living room which opens out onto a balcony upstairs for breathtaking views over cardigan bay. It is within walking distance to local shops, cafes, restaurants and boutique cinema. You can enjoy the beach and coastal path on your doorstep or take a drive inland to nearby Aberystwyth.

Stay in an authentic Mariners cottage a few minutes walk to the sea on the beautiful Cardigan bay coastal path. This is where quaint seaside towns and villages are nestled between the beautiful seascapes. Green fields and deep wooded river valleys, combine with the remote and starkly beautiful Cambrian Mountains. A magical place to visit. This is a place to relax, away from it all, enjoy the local scenery, sample locally produced and sourced foods, wine and beers.

If that wasn't enough, it is also on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, just a stones throw from one of the country's finest beaches! Rocket is a charming little slice of living history.. it really does have to be seen to be believed! Welcome to Bryn Goleu. Set in 3 acres , it’s a romantic, cosy, quirky and cosy barn, set 700 feet up Bwlch Mawr mountain with stunning sea and mountain views. You have total privacy with no passing traffic. Peace & quiet, wildlife and wonderful walks all at your doorstep. Watch stunning sunsets over the bay and sunrises over Snowdon. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome by mutual agreement, but please let us know

Our place is located on the cliff in Borth, with spectacular views of Cardigan bay. It is a 3 storey Victorian house, of which the top floor will be all yours; maximum 4 guests. The top floor consists of 2 bedrooms, a lounge room and 1 spacious bathroom. This accommodation would be suitable for golfers, surfers, ramblers or family gatherings.
