Quiet bwthyn, near coast, St Davids

Quirky, fun space in a tiny, traditional Welsh barn, with thick stone walls and a dinky Welsh woodstove (logs provided). Perfect for sea swimmers, walkers, seal spotters, bird watchers and beach goers. Cycles and surf boards to borrow, at your risk. Walk a mile to the coast path for spectacular sea views, cycle/drive 10 minutes to St Davids or Whitesandsbeach, 15 to the Blue Lagoon. We supply bread, butter, eggs, milk, coffee, tea and sugar for your first breakfast. Sadly we cannot host dogs.

The studio is perfectly located for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline, Skomer Island, walking, biking and water sports.

From St. Davids you are within easy reach of the stunning local beaches of Whitesands and Caerfai, the tranquil harbour of Porthclais and the world renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Rock House is a cosy, traditional welsh cottage in the heart of the pretty village of Herbrandston. It has recently been restored employing traditional methods and preserving original features. Within walking distance is Sandy Haven, a lovely secluded beach with rock pools and a slipway. Close by are Dale, Marloes Sands and Martin’s Haven, where you can catch a boat to Skomer, famous for its puffins. The nearest towns are Milford Haven, with its marina and picturesque Haverfordwest.

Beach options (several within walking distance) are endless and unspoilt. There’s every type of water-sport on offer and one of the best pubs in Wales on the doorstep.
