Only 11 miles to Broadway, and 10-15 minutes to the Opry and East Nashville! Get away from the city buzz in our quiet neighborhood without compromising proximity to downtown. This basement studio features a full kitchen, jetted spa tub, KING bed, and a patio with outdoor seating and a fire pit. Please note that this is the downstairs of our home and there are stairs up to a locked door which we have put a curtain over. We do have a baby and a dog upstairs, so minor overhead noise is possible!

Breathe healthy in this hypoallergenic environment. Stay warm around a central stone fireplace and soak up the cultural significance of staying in a carefully restored domestic cottage listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub to relax a little more. This original tiny house has no separate bedrooms. Spa is near the main house-70 feet from the cottage. Swim wear required. It is private for the cottage guests only. We are 7 miles from downtown Nashville.

Hartford River Cottage

Quaint cottage on the banks of the Cumberland River. On the grounds of the former home of Bluegrass Hall of Fame member John Hartford, writer of the song "Gentle on My Mind". Close to the city, but with a country feel. 8-12 minutes to The Grand Ole Opry, 12-16 minutes to Nissan Stadium, 16-20 minutes to Downtown. $12-$14 Uber fare to downtown - cheaper than parking. Convenient parking at the Cottage. Our goal is to make every guest feel special, and leave knowing they want to come back.

In this lower level unit, adults (please; no children) have exclusive use of the entire 1,100+ sq ft space. A private entry with functional accommodations for those seeking quiet uninterrupted mornings. It’s cozy, yet spacious. Coffee, creamer, bottled water, pastry and or yogurt are provided to fit our guests’ own schedules- perfect for the late riser or if you prefer the " non-morning person." An ideal space for couples or business travelers and only minutes from downtown Nashville!
