Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Idyllic barn set in peaceful Constable Country

Peacock Barn is nestled in the grounds of the historic Grade II listed Spider Hall in the heart of Constable Country and Brett Vale, an AONB. Located at the end of a 1/4 mile long private drive way the property is completely self-contained with large bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room with French window access on to a private lawn with access to 7 acres of grounds. The only sound is often the church bells of Shelley half a mile away. 4 footpaths in to the AONB are a step away.

The Old Stables

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

The Orchard Hadleigh 3 Bed Luxury Log Cabin

Please ensure your trip is inline with current government regulations. One of 3 luxury lodges nestled within the Cherry Orchard. The lodge sleeps 6 people with lovely views, its own private hot-tub, large decking area, outside seating & sun loungers. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need, including coffee machine, smart TV, log burner ,large fridge freezer and DVD player. About a 20 minute walk into Hadleigh, which has a selection of pubs and restaurants.

Quiet retreat in Constable Country

The newly refurbished Hill House Annex is in the heart of Constable country with incredible views and private access to 10 acres of countryside in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for homeworking and/or exploring the surrounding area. It is also on a well known cycle route so could be an ideal pitstop on your travels. Small well behaved dogs are welcome but the flat is a bit small for bigger dogs.

Rural cottage with a boating lake - The Calf Pens

A large and wonderfully proportioned conversion of an old farm building off the beaten track set within the 300 acre grounds of Moat Hall. With high ceilings, wood burner, exposed beams, classic interior décor and antique furniture, the Calf Pens make a distinctive and extremely comfortable rural getaway tucked away on the edge of the Dedham Vale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Annexe, Centre of Dedham

In the centre of Dedham, The Annexe offers a restful retreat to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Just off the High Street, it is perfectly located to enjoy all that Dedham has to offer. Restaurants, pubs, shops, beautiful walks and the river are all moments away. The private annexe is attached to our house with its own entrance and superb views of St Mary's Church.
