Penlan Farm Cottage overlooks an agriculture area. It is just north of the small town of St. Clears. Carmarthen is 10 miles to the east, with a modern shopping centre, 3D Cinema, Xcel Bowl, cafes, restaurants and market. Just a short drive away is Pendine with its vast sandy beach and horse riding. The picturesque bay of Carmarthen has sandy beaches with rock pools and also busy seaside tourist resorts such as Saundersfoot and Tenby. There are many attractions in the area, including, outdoor adventure centres, theme parks, farms, woollen mill, pottery, boat trips, botanic gardens, zoo, castles, and a whole lot more! Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond.

Relaxing location - Lower Cresswell is a Georgian farm set in 36 acres of beautiful pastures, and ancient woodland, and home to Herdwick sheep, Pet pigs, goats, alpacas, chickens and waterfowl, with views stretching over the Carmarthenshire countryside. Our guests choose to stay because it is small friendly campsite and for the quiet environment. We do not allow amplified music at any time and all guests need to be quiet after 10pm.
