Portia Bay is only 7 miles away, which also offers public fishing. The cabin is also about 7 miles from the public access to Shirey Bay, which is owned by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Shirey Bay is a WMA wildlife management area. There are also public accesses to the Black River within 6-10 miles.
