ALASKA SEA BRIGHT LODGE JEWEL OF CHINA POOT

The Alaska Sea Bright Lodge is accessible only by sea or air. A 30 minute boat ride from the Homer Harbor will bring you to the Sea Bright dock at water's edge in China Poot Bay located in the midst of majestic Kachemak Bay Wilderness State Park, bordered on three sides by the ocean. Across the small bay 5,000 foot peaks jut up from the ocean floor adding a majestic feel to this home. This 500 acre estuary is home to seals, otters, sea birds, eagles,5 species of salmon, and countless others.

Sunshine Homestead

Feel the joy when you sleep under the stars on Sunshine Drive in Happy Valley! The yurt is 16' and 4-season insulated, complete with stove, microwave, running water, an outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill, and patio. This is a private yurt on a quiet road that welcomes well mannered dogs. There is a tiny, single person A-frame also available to rent nearby. Restroom is a lit outhouse with parking. The yurt in on Sunshine Homestead, just down the driveway, where I raise hens, and a large garden.

The Bear Paw Studio is designed as an apartment with a private entrance, the ability to accommodate a family of 4, or 2 couples very comfortably, and is built with a kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and bedroom. This beautiful, rustic hickory kitchen is complete with cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full size stove and refrigerator for those avid cooks. You'll love sitting at the dinning table gazing out the window to the snow top, bay waters, and meadow.

Salty Siren Cottage

Cozy cottage located about a mile off Sterling Hwy in Anchor Point (midpoint between Ninilchik and Homer). Perfect for the whole family to enjoy a getaway to the Kenai Peninsula. This little work in progress is a 30 min drive to downtown Homer, The Halibut Fishing Capital of the World. Here you can find an abundance of fun like halibut/salmon charters, bear flightseeing, restaurants, beaches, rivers, golf, eateries, coffee shops, art galleries, local sightseeing and more.

A weekend or more at this peaceful and centrally-located place. We have our own hiking trail system as well as being next to a bike path that connects to miles more of trails. The view is spectacular from all windows. Fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. Small desk in bedroom. We have extra boots for going tide pooling, and an outdoor grill to use after catching your fresh fish. No carpets (allergens).
