Welcome to Melody Mountain Cabin, a cozy forest retreat perched 1,000 feet above Benbow Valley's Lost Coast. Tucked deep in redwood country, this peaceful haven offers a jacuzzi under star-filled skies, quiet mornings on the patio with quail, turkey, and deer, and the nighttime hush of crickets and frogs. Inside, enjoy a cozy wood stove, Wi-Fi, and charming artistic touches throughout. Whimsical, dog-friendly, and off the beaten path—this is your place to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

Feed the horses carrots on your walkabout or enjoy a canoe ride and listen to the birds. This elegant 2 story treehouse will take your breath away and leave you and your guests feeling relaxed and rejuvenated in nature. Our house is close by but your treehouse is private.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.
